A 32-year-old Adams County man was shot and killed by an apparent intruder in his home, the Natchez Democrat reported.
Kelvin Brown was shot multiple times, including once in the head, while he slept in his bed early Tuesday morning, Adams County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Jerry Brown told the newspaper.
Investigators believe the intruder crawled through a window, shot Brown and left through a rear door.
Deputies found Kelvin Brown’s body about 3 a.m. after receiving a call from his mother who said she heard shots fired in her Southmoor Drive home and found her son dead, Jerry Brown said.
Kelvin Brown was also shot May 1 during a confrontation with Montreal Brown, authorities said. Montreal Brown is facing charges in connection with the May 1 shooting.
