Mourners line up to say goodbye to 6-year-old murder victim

A long line formed Thursday to say goodbye to a 6-year-old boy who was killed a week ago after his mother’s car was stolen.

Visitation for Kingston Frazier was held at Morning Star Baptist Church at 3420 Albermarle Road. Kingston’s funeral is at noon Friday at the church.

Kingston was in the back seat of his mother’s car about 1:30 a.m. May 17 when it was stolen from the Kroger on Interstate 55, police said. His body was found, still in the back of the car, eight hours later on Gluckstadt Road in Madison County, authorities said. He had been shot four times.

Three teenagers were arrested and charged in Madison County with capital murder in Kingston’s death. They could also face charges in Hinds County.
