Can the Cowboys make history in 2011?

For the first time since 1995, the Cowboys will play the previous season’s Super Bowl participants when they travel to Indianapolis and host New Orleans in 2010.

In 1995, the Cowboys played at San Diego, winning, 23-9, and were home against San Francisco, losing 38-20, the season after the Niners beat the Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX.

And the Cowboys went on to claim their most-recent championship in 1995, beating Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX. If the Cowboys are to repeat that feat they would become the first team to play in a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
