Indianapolis has a 10-0 lead with 36 seconds left in the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIV thanks to a 19-yard TD catch by Pierre Garcon.

He easily turned around Usama Young, who was in the game because of an injury, at the line of scrimmage and safety Roman Harper was late with his help over the top to give Peyton Manning the avenue to throw the touchdown pass.

Before the touchdown, the Colts had to convert on third down just once on their 96-yard drive and that resulted in a 26-yard run by Joseph Addai. The 96-yard drive tied for the longest in Super Bowl history.

That’s two drives, two scores for the Colts. This is the worst possible start for the Saints. Of course, we were saying the same thing last year for Arizona and the Cardinals turned that game around against Pittsburgh.

But the Saints will start this drive at their 11 because of a holding penalty on the ensuing kickoff return.
